Pakistan looks forward for TAPI completion by 2018: President
ISLAMABAD, Mar 16 (APP): President Mamnoon Hussain Wednesday said that the Turkmenistan-Afghanistan-Pakistan-India (TAPI) Gas Pipeline Project would be a game changer with benefits for all the participating countries. He said the ground-breaking ceremony of the project was a welcome development and Pakistan was looking forward for completion of the project by 2018. “Pakistan also looks forward to import of 1000 MW electricity from Turkmenistan on fast-track basis,” he added.

VTCS extended to March 31
ISLAMABAD, Mar 15 (APP): The Federal Board of Revenue (FBR) on Tuesday further extended the date for filing of tax returns for non-filers from March 15 to March 31 to facilitate traders under the Voluntary Tax Compliance Scheme (VTCS). The FBR also extended the date of filing returns for individual filers to March 21, FBR Spokesman Dr Mohammad Iqbal told APP.
