Pakistan to play vital role in global market: Sartaj Aziz

ISLAMABAD, Mar 24 (APP): Advisor to Prime Minister on Foreign Affairs, Sartaj Aziz has said that higher education must be  on top priority to get international recognition as Pakistan was going to play very important role in global market. He stated this in a meeting with Dr Masoom Yasinzai Rector  International Islamic University Islamabad, who called on him  and discussed the role of universities in development of Pakistan, said a news release Thursday. Sartaj Aziz lauded the contributions of IIUI at national and international levels and urged the university to  promote higher education in Pakistan. Advisor to the PM exchanged his views with Rector IIUI on matters of the university, particularly to extend its out-reach and scope to maximum.

ISLAMABAD Mar 24 (APP):The Special Assistant to the Prime Minister Tariq Fatemi said here Thursday Pakistan regarded Japan as an important friend and development partner as the two countries enjoyed an excellent cooperation in diverse fields. He highlighted the Prime Minister’s policy of peaceful neighborhood and non-interference in the region, and reiterated Pakistan’s desire to build a constructive and trust-based relationship with all its neighbours. He was talking to the Director General Southeast and South West Asian Affairs Department, Japanese Ministry of Foreign Affairs, Amb. Kazuya Nashida and Deputy Special Representative of Japan for Afghanistan and Pakistan, Amb. Katsuhiko Takahashi who called on him here, said a statement of the foreign office spokesman.

ISLAMABAD, March 24 (APP): Prime Minister Muhammad Nawaz Sharif on Thursday said Pakistan was desirous of bringing greater depth and economic substance to its relationship with the United States of America. Talking to David Hale the US Ambassador who called on him here at the PM  House, he said “The important decisions agreed during my last visit to the US have generated a new momentum in steering our bilateral relations forward.” The Prime Minister said Pakistan-US Strategic Dialogue has been  instrumental in identifying the achievements made so far and setting new targets under six working groups of the Dialogue.
