Security forces kill 14 Indian-sponsored Khwarij in North Waziristan

ISLAMABAD, Jun 04 (APP):Security forces sent to hell 14 Indian-sponsored Khwarij in a decisive operation in North Waziristan, effectively neutralizing their position after a fierce exchange of fire.
According to Inter Services Public Relations (ISPR), on 2-3 June 2025, an intelligence-based operation was conducted by the Security Forces in the general area Datta Khel, North Waziristan District, on reported presence of khwarij belonging to Indian proxy, Fitna al Khwarij.
During the conduct of the operation, own troops effectively engaged the Indian sponsored khwarij location, and after an intense exchange of fire, fourteen Indian sponsored khwarij were sent to hell.
Sensitization operations are being conducted to eliminate any other Indian sponsored Khwarji found in the area, as the security forces of Pakistan are determined to wipe out the menace of Indian Sponsored Terrorism from the country.

Bilawal calls his UN visit ‘successful’, says response sympathetic to Pakistan’s push for dialogue

UNITED NATIONS, Jun 04 (APP):PPP Chairman and former Foreign Minister, Bilawal Bhutto Zardari, who is currently leading a high-level delegation as part of Pakistan’s ongoing outreach following the recent Indian military aggression, has said his intensive talks at the United Nations were “very useful” and “successful”.
Wrapping up his two-visit to New York, he said he received a sympathetic response to Pakistan’s position on key issues with India, especially New Delhi’s threat to cut off water.
“I am very satisfied with the way our visit proceeded,” Bilawal Bhutto told back-to-back press conferences — first at UN Headquarters in New York and then with US-based Pakistani media at the Pakistan Mission to the UN.
The delegation later left for Washington, where a similar delegation from India, headed by Shashi Tharoor, a former Minister of State for External Affairs, is lobbying with the Trump administration officials, US lawmakers, and speaking at think-tanks.
During its stay in New York,  the delegation conferred with the permanent and non-permanent members of the 15-member UN Security Council and its current President, the UN General Assembly President, OIC members as well as with the UN Secretary-General.
Besides Bilawal Bhutto, the delegation members are: Hina Rabbani Khar, Khurram Dastgir Khan, Senators Sherry Rehman, Musadik Malik, Faisal Sabzwari, Bushra Anjum Butt, and former foreign secretaries Jalil Abbas Jilni and Tehmina Janjua.
At both events, Bilawal Bhutto made it a point to call on the international community and the United Nations to push India to engage in a comprehensive dialogue with Pakistan to resolve disputes and maintain peace following the recent military confrontation between the two South Asian neighbours.
Bilawal reaffirmed Pakistan’s readiness to hold a comprehensive dialogue with India, including discussions on terrorism. He said that Pakistan has endured the highest number of terrorist attacks globally and has suffered deeply from terrorism’s consequences. His mother, Mohtarma Benazir Bhutto Shaheed, too, was a victim of terrorism.
Highlighting Pakistan’s consistent condemnation of terrorism in all it’s forms and manifestations, he said the government had immediately offered cooperation for an impartial international investigation into the Pahalgam attack, but India resorted to  “illegal strikes” under “Operation Sindoor,” targeting civilian infrastructure in violation of international law and the UN Charter.
Pakistan’s military response was solely in self-defense, he said. “We only responded to those planes we believed had dropped munitions on Pakistani territory.” India later escalated the conflict by launching missile strikes, to which Pakistan responded with precision and downed six Indian war planes.
Bilawal Bhutto sharply criticized Indian Prime Minister Narendra Modi for his war-mongering, comparing him to Israeli Prime Minister  Benjamin Netanyahu, the butcher of Gaza. There was no military solution to the issues of Kashmir, water, and terrorism. Since 2019, the delegation leader said, he had targeted Muslims, demonizing them in India and Kashmir.
Bilawal Bhutto expressed grave concern at the unilateral suspension of the 1960 Indus Waters Treaty — a move that Pakistan considers a blatant act of weaponizing water and a violation of international and treaty obligations. For Pakistan, that is a redline.
He stressed that due to India’s belligerent aggression, the world had become a less safe place, with real and present implications for peace and security in South Asia.
Reaffirming Pakistan’s commitment to peace, restraint, and diplomacy, he called for the restoration of the Indus Waters Treaty, full respect for the ceasefire, and the resumption of a comprehensive dialogue, with the resolution of the Jammu and Kashmir dispute at its core.
Cooperative relations between India and Pakistan Bilawal credited international mediation — particularly by U.S. President Donald Trump and Secretary of State Marco Rubio — with helping to secure a ceasefire. However, he warned that while welcome, the ceasefire was only a temporary measure. “The threshold for full-blown conflict between two nuclear-armed nations has been dangerously lowered,” he cautioned, stressing the need for continued dialogue and diplomatic engagement.
Highlighting the danger of rapid escalation, Bilawal warned, “Next time, the international community might not have enough time to intervene.” He emphasized that Pakistan’s civil and military leadership had made great sacrifices in fighting terrorism and deserved international recognition, not vilification.
Bilawal also criticized India’s use of terrorism as a political tool to marginalize Muslims and justify aggressive actions in Kashmir and against Pakistan. Despite this, he expressed Pakistan’s willingness to cooperate with India in combating terrorism, stressing that regional peace could not be held hostage by non-state actors.
He condemned India’s attempt to set a precedent of war in response to every terror incident, calling it “untenable” for two nuclear-armed countries. Bilawal proposed the establishment of a dispute resolution mechanism between the two nations to investigate and address terrorism-related concerns jointly.
He reiterated that the root cause of the conflict remained the unresolved issue of Jammu and Kashmir — an agenda item at the UN Security Council — and stressed the importance of fulfilling international commitments made to the Kashmiri people.
Additionally, Bilawal raised concerns over India’s “weaponization of water,” citing its threats to abrogate the Indus Waters Treaty as a violation of international law and a potential act of war.
“India claims to be a net security provider, but its actions have made it a source of insecurity in the region,” he said. “True security can only come through peace between India and Pakistan.”

By Muhammad Abdullah
MAKKAH, Jun 4 (APP):The Municipality of the Holy Capital (Amanat Al-Asimah Al-Muqaddasah) has completed all sanitation arrangements in the holy sites for the Hajj season of 1446 AH.
As part of efforts to modernize the cleaning system, the municipality has introduced several advanced facilities this year, including electric waste compactors, underground storage units, and state-of-the-art cleaning machinery.

In particular, the temporary waste storage system has been upgraded to meet modern standards, ensuring timely waste disposal during the pilgrimage.
The municipality has installed 1,235 electric waste compactors, 113 underground storage units, 9 large waste compactor trucks, 4 transfer stations, and approximately 88,000 waste bins of various sizes throughout the holy sites. Over 13,500 personnel have been deployed for sanitation services, and the latest cleaning equipment, such as automated sweepers, dump trucks, loaders, and multi-purpose small vehicles, have been provided to ensure effective cleaning even in crowded areas.
The municipality has confirmed that all facilities, field centers, staff, and equipment are fully prepared, and the operational plans are being executed to maintain cleanliness and hygiene in line with the presence and density of pilgrims. KAMC Makkah  introduces cutting-edge technology  to enable rapid, accurate diagnosis of cardiac conditions during Hajj

By Muhammad Abdullah
MINA, Jun 4 (APP):King Abdullah Medical City in Makkah has introduced a cutting-edge technology called “i-Selfie” during this year’s Hajj to enable rapid and accurate diagnosis of cardiac conditions.
Utilizing artificial intelligence and contactless sensing, this technology is the first of its kind in the Kingdom. It can assess key vital signs such as ECG, blood pressure, oxygen saturation, pulse rate, respiratory rate, and body temperature within seconds—without the need for traditional medical devices or physical contact.
This innovation is part of King Abdullah Medical City’s pre-Hajj healthcare preparedness strategy and is operated under the Makkah Health Cluster. The technology has been deployed at initial triage points and emergency cardiac care units to handle the large number of critical cases efficiently.
Dr. Adel bin Abdulqader Tash, Executive Director General of the Medical City, described this development as the beginning of a new era in “smart healthcare.” He stated that “i-Selfie” not only accelerates diagnosis but also reduces the burden on medical staff and enhances real-time decision-making. According to him, the system has already demonstrated high accuracy in diagnosing several critical cardiac cases, enabling timely intervention and reducing complications.
The “i-Selfie” system relies on advanced visual and biometric sensors backed by AI algorithms, generating an instant health report for physicians. This rapid feedback facilitates swift clinical decisions, particularly in high-pressure settings like the Hajj season.
This project aligns with Saudi Arabia’s Vision 2030 goals for digital transformation in healthcare, improved quality of life, and innovation-driven sustainability. It reflects the Kingdom’s ongoing commitment to modernizing health services and ensuring safe, efficient care for all.
Experts believe that beyond Hajj, technologies like “i-Selfie” will pave the way for wider adoption of smart healthcare solutions across the Kingdom’s medical facilities.

Kids, animals form special love bonds ahead of Eid ul Azha

M Atif Ismail
MULTAN, Jun 04 (APP):For many children especially in urban areas,Eid ul Azha is more than just a religious event as it is a time of pure joy, new friendships and special bonds formed with the animals brought home for sacrifice.
These few days become magical in urban homes where children get rare chances to interact so closely with animals.
Osaid(12) and his younger brother Obaid(10) from Vehari, experienced this joy when their father brought home a goat and a sheep in preparation for Eid ul Azha.As soon as the animals arrived, the house was filled with laughter, noise, and excitement. Both boys rushed to the courtyard, circling the animals with wide smiles.
“This one is mine!” said Obaid, pointing at the goat, while Osaid proudly took charge of the sheep. From that moment on, the boys were rarely seen without their animals. Whether it was feeding time, bathing time, or just sitting beside them and talking, the bond grew stronger each day.
“They treat them like friends,” said their mother.“Osaid even made a shade with an old bedsheet to protect the sheep from the sun. And Obaid keeps checking if the goat has enough water.”
Such scenes are common in many homes during the days leading up to Eid ul Azha. Children across the region  suddenly take on a new sense of responsibility. They wake up early to check on their animals and often delay meals or playtime to ensure their new friends are comfortable.
These moments are filled with innocence and happiness. The children give the animals nicknames, decorate them with ribbons and bells, and proudly show them off to friends and neighbors.Osaid recently invited his classmates over to see the sheep, while Obaid took pictures of the goat and sent them to his cousins.
In urban areas like Multan, where many children rarely see animals outside of screens or books, this becomes a once-a-year chance to connect with nature. It is also a quiet teacher who teaches values like care, kindness and sacrifice.
Parents often find these days valuable too.Children leave mobile phones aside and focus on real-life care, learning empathy in the process. Siblings often work together as one brings grass, the other water, thus strengthening their own bond through shared responsibility.
For children like Osaid and Obaid, Eid ul Azha is not just about rituals. It is about the friendship they form with animals, the love they show, and the memories they build.
