Female students continue their supremacy in ABISE FA, FSc annual result 2023

ABBOTTABAD, Sep 28 (APP):The Abbottabad Board of Intermediate and Secondary Education (ABISE) Thursday unveiled its annual results for FA and FSc 2023, once again revealing an impressive display of academic excellence by female students.
In the 11th grade, a total of 39,625 candidates appeared for the examinations, and a remarkable 24,832 students successfully passed, achieving an overall pass rate of 63 per cent. In 12th grade, out of 42,059 candidates, an impressive 33,525 secured success, leading to an outstanding overall pass percentage of 82 percent.
According to the FSc Pre-Medical Group results, Amina Kashif a student from Peace Group of Schools & Colleges Manshera claimed the top position with an exceptional score of 1038 marks.
In the pre-engineering Group, Amna Habiba Malik, representing Tameer-e-Watan School Abbottabad, secured the first position with an impressive score of 1031 marks.
While in the Computer Science Group, Syed Abdul Ahad from Tameer-e-Watan emerged as the topper with a remarkable score of 1005 marks. In Arts Group, Hafiza Salim of Government Postgraduate College Haripur secured the first position with an impressive score of 953 marks.
These successful students not only exemplify academic excellence but also reflect the hard work and dedication of their teachers and the unwavering support of their parents.
The announcement of the results was attended by the Chairman Board, Malik Shafiq Awan, Board Secretary Zafar AbbasAbbasi, and other distinguished guests, along with the posit ion-holder students, school principals, and proud parents.
Chairman Malik Shafiq Awan extended his heartfelt congratulations to the high-achieving students and presented shields to recognize their outstanding accomplishments.

33 Corona cases reported in one week: NIH

ISLAMABAD, Sep 28 (APP):Health officials on Thursday said that 33 new Coronavirus cases were reported during the last one week across the country.
As per the data shared by the National Institute of Health (NIH), the case positivity ratio was 1.04 percent while no death was reported from the Coronavirus.
During the last week 3,176 Covid-19 tests were conducted.
Meanwhile, Caretaker Federal Minister for National Health Services, Regulations, and Coordination, Dr Nadeem Jan said the government has strengthened the role of Border and Health Services in Pakistan to deal with any sub-variant of Covid-19.
The minister said there was a surveillance system at all entry points of the country including airports. There will be rapid tests and screening of passengers at all airports, he added.
He added 90 percent of the country’s population already got the Covid-19 vaccine. “An efficient system with a proper management team is fully functional in the country to remain vigilant and is ready to make an emergency plan to deal with any sub-variant of Covid-19,” the minister added.
He said the Border and Health Services Pakistan was ensuring the implementation of international health regulations. He said that in case of any untoward situation, the health system was fully prepared to deal with any sub-variant of the Omicron variant of Covid-19 including BF.7 in the country.

Rangers arrest facilitators of robbers of riverine areas

KARACHI, Sep 28 (APP):The Pakistan Rangers Sindh and Police in a joint intelligence based operation arrested three alleged facilitators of criminals and robbers of riverside areas of Khairpur and Ghotki.
According to spokesman for Rangers on Thursday, the arrested were identified as Noor Al Shahani alias Nooro, Ali Gohar Chachar and Akbar Ali Chachar were facilitators of criminals and robbers of the riverine areas and were involved in the delivery of illegal arms and ammunition.
The Rangers recovered 2 pistols, 2 SMGs, 1 MI6A1 gun, 13 magazines, 766 different types of ammunition, a dagger, a car, a jeep, 9 mobiles, police uniform and cash amounting to Rs.561,400/- from the possession of the accused.
The arrested accused along with the arms, ammunition and stolen goods have been handed over to the police for further legal proceedings.

Police carry out search operation in ‘Mohrah Mando’, adjoining areas

RAWALPINDI, Sep 28 (APP):Police here on Thursday carried out a search operation in ‘Mohrah Mando’ and adjoining areas in the jurisdiction of Mandra Police Station.
According to a police spokesman, the search operation was conducted in order to maintain law and order and to flush out suspects following the directions of City Police Officer (CPO) Syed Khalid Hamdani.
He informed, senior police officers and police personnel including women police took part in the search operations.
“Police checked as many as 25 houses, 30 shops, 8 tenants and 70 individuals during the search operation.
Superintendent of Police, Saddar Muhammad Nabeel Khokhar said that police are fully prepared to shield the lives and property of the public and combing and search operation was done to flush out the suspects and hardcore criminals.
He said that police are more vigilant to keep an eye on suspects and to maintain law and order in Rawalpindi.

Fake fertilizer worth over Rs 1m seized, one accused held

MULTAN, Sep 28 (APP):Agriculture extension department teams have raided at fake fertilizer factories and seized fake fertilizers worth over Rs one million and arrested the accused.
Assistant fertilizer controller Allah Rakha Sandhu seized false fertilizer and materials worth Rs 1 million. In a raid at a bogus fertilizer factory in Babar town’s Naag Shah chowk, In the Qutubpur police station, a case was opened against the factory owners Muhammad Imran, Tariq Khan, and Malik Munir.
The labor in charge, Muhammad Javed, son of Muhammad Riaz, has also been detained by police. Nine distinct phony fertilizer varieties were being made by the suspects.
In the meantime, a search on a bogus fertilizer factory in Shujabad resulted in the recovery of DAP fertilizer and supplies worth Rs 84,000. Additionally, cases were filed against Shahid Kareem and Muhammad Amjad. The police received the fertilizer and other confiscated things. Fertilizer samples were collected and sent to a lab for examination.
