ISLAMABAD, Oct 12 (APP):Ministry of Overseas Pakistanis and Human Resource Development said Friday that the educational institutions of Overseas Pakistanis Foundation (OPF) has the potential to absorb all children of expatriate Pakistanis, who have been repatriated from Gulf countries during last eight months, in its education centers.
The Ministry sources told APP that as many as 24 OPF schools and colleges were being run in different cities with a space to accommodate around 2,354 children adding that admissions are in process in all institutions.
The OPF school in Gujarat has the capacity to accommodate 500 students while OPF Public School, Sanghar can accommodate 400. Likewise OPF school,Karachi has the capacity to absorb 200 students, OPF Mansehra can admit 160 students, OPF School Sheikhupura and Sialkot can accommodate 100 students each.
Similarly, OPF Islamabad has the capacity of accommodating 96 students of expatriates. OPF Multan and DI Khan can accommodate 75 students each in their premises.As many as 72 students can get education in OPF, Kotli, followed by 66 in OPF Quetta. OPF Bhalwal,Depalpur,Pakpattan and Islamabad can accommodate 50 students each.
Likewise 45 students can be admitted in OPF Turbat, 25 each can be accommodated in OPF Muzaffarabad and Badin. 15 students can be accommodated in OPF school in Mirpur.
