ISLAMABAD, Aug 6 (APP): Member National Assembly Pakistan Muslim League Nawaz (PML-N) Daniyal Aziz Saturday said PTI was once again telling a lie as opposition parties did not have consensus among themselves on Terms of References (ToRs) on Panama Papers.

Speaking in a private news channel programme, he said as the name of Prime Minister Muhammad Nawaz Sharif was not mentioned in Panama Papers, so there was no justification in demanding accountability of the Prime Minister.

He said PTI was telling a lie to the nation regarding ToRs on Panama Papers as it was just doing politics of allegations against PML-N government.

Daniyal Aziz said the opposition had made Panama Papers
issue a matter of ego and they themselves were not agreed on one point agenda regarding its ToRs.

He said Sheikh Rasheed and PTI had filed several petitions against the Prime Minister on Panama Papers in Election Commission of Pakistan (ECP) but there was no reference of Panama Papers in any of their petitions.

“They did not follow law and constitution regarding filing petitions. These petitions were based on mere allegations on the Prime Minister and to defame the Election Commission,” he added.

The MNA said PML-N had filed a disqualification reference against PTI Chief Imran Khan under articles 62 and 63 of the constitution before the Speaker of the National Assembly.

He said Imran Khan and some other leaders had used derogatory language against the Parliament which was shameful, adding, PTI had flopped badly in Punjab.
