Pakistan-South Africa relations are increasing with a steady pace

LAHORE, Aug 14 (APP): Federal Minister for Defence Production, Science & Technology Rana Tanveer Hussain said
on Sunday that no compromise would be made for the protection  of the country.

He said this while addressing a ceremony held in connection
with Independence Day of Pakistan at UC-37 Sheikhupura, says  a press release issued here on Sunday.

He said that Pakistan was an independent country which
came into being under the dynamic leadership of Quaid-i-Azam Muhammad Ali Jinnah, adding that our forefathers rendered unprecedented sacrifices for a separate homeland.

“The whole nation pays tribute to the martyrs who
laid down their lives in the Pakistan Movement”, he added.

The minister inaugurated the road from Dhamkay to
Nasirabad and made an announcement for installing new
filtration plant and sewerage system in UC-37 Sheikhupura.

Later, addressing the big public meeting in connection
with Independence Day at Muridke, he said that PML-N under
the dynamic leadership of Prime Minister Nawaz Sharif was
working for the bright future of the country.

He said that unfortunately some elements were trying
to mislead people and create hurdles in the progress of the
country.

He said that people had rejected the politics of sit-ins
and protests.

Talking to the media, the minister said that terrorists
would be brought to their logical end and the Zarb-e-Azb
operation would continue till the elimination of last terrorist.
