Zartaj Gul urges nation to join Climate Action March

ISLAMABAD, Sep 19 (APP):Minister of State for Climate Change Zartaj Gul Thursday urged the nation to join Climate Action March to be held on September 20 across the country.

Zartaj Gul in a video message received here said the country was facing adverse impact of climate change and was among the most vulnerable countries facing climate change risks.

“The nation should participate in the march to make the world leaders and the major contributors to environmental degradation and global warming realize their responsibility to help developing vulnerable countries mitigate the impacts of climate change,” she added.

“We are going to organize the march before National Press Club after the jumma prayers,” she mentioned.
