ISLAMABAD, Nov 6 (APP): Minister for Religious Affairs and Interfaith
Harmony Sardar Muhammad Yousuf on Friday urged the world community to take
notice on growing Indian aggressive behaviour towards minorities and neighbouring countries.
Talking to media after parliament session, he said Indian Prime
Minister Narendra Modi’s government does not want peace in the region and
it is responsibility of the international community to check Indian
He said a better strategy to resolve differences between both
the governments is to discuss on table rather than taking
extreme steps.
The minister said Pakistan is endeavouring for peace in
the region especially with neighbouring countries but India is not
showing positive response. “Prime Minister Nawaz Sharif is taking
steps in this respect but did not receive same response from India”.
India is violating rights of minorities and promoting extremism
but the world is not taking appropriate notice towards
this grave issue.
Responding to a query, he said the ministry is providing
Rs 500,000 for each to heirs of each deceased of Mina accident and
Rs 50,000 to Rs 100,000 to injured persons.
