Young entrepreneurs are future of country: Swati

ISLAMABAD, Nov 26 (APP): Minister for Railways Azam Khan Swati Friday said young entrepreneurs are the future of the country and the government is committed to boost construction sector giving incentives to young investors.

During the visit of a three-day Pakistan International Property Housing and Construction Exhibition and Convention (PIPH&CEC), he said the future of entrepreneurship in Pakistan seems really bright.

The minister visited different stalls of the exhibition including Makeen Marketing Pvt Ltd and evinced interest and appreciated the efforts of young generation.

Swati said the exhibition is a great opportunity for the people of the country to invest, adding that these types of events will also boost the economy of the country.

The minister said the government’s intention to develop the construction industry is very good, which has provided employment of millions of people.

Pakistan International Property Exhibition and Convention is organized by the Pakistan Association of Exhibition Industry in collaboration with Jang Media Group at the Pak-China Friendship Centre.

Prominent builders, developers, allied construction and bank projects from across the country have been on display – the three-day exhibition which attended by a large number of business community from Rawalpindi, Islamabad and Peshawar.

Talking to APP, Chief Executive Officer (CEO) Makeen Marketing Hassan Talal Sahi said the economy of a country mainly depends upon the businesses being done in the country.

He said entrepreneurship not only supports the growth rate and economy of the country but also offers job opportunities for people. With the help of entrepreneurship, benefits are provided to the economy and society through employment and growth rate, he added.

Hassan Talal said entrepreneurship developments have the capacity to create new jobs through new business endeavors. It provides work and utilizes the labor, enhances resources to increase production, boosts the GDP and reduces the dependency upon welfare programs rather utilize people to help boost the economy of the nation.

He said with the help of youth, Pakistan aims to reduce youth unemployment and increase economic sustainability by enhancing their understanding of entrepreneurship and leadership qualities.

“The exhibition and convention is a great opportunity to bring together resellers, developers and property buyers,” he added.
