Yasin Malik sent back to Srinagar jail

Unfair trial of Yasin Malik in India, plot of judicial murder

ISLAMABAD, Oct 28 (APP): Mushaal Hussein Malick, wife of Jammu and Kashmir Liberation Front (JKLF) chief Muhammad Yasin Malik, Friday said the Indian authorities have shifted her husband back to jail from Soura Institute of Medical Sciences in Srinagar.
Talking to APP, she condemned mistreatment of her husband by the Indian authorities.
Yasin Malik who was admitted to the hospital on October 22 after his health deteriorated in the jail was shifted back to Srinagar Central Jail this morning, Mushaal added.
She said chairman JKLF is under illegal detention since July 9, a day after the extra-judicial killing of youth leader, Burhan Wani, by Indian troops.
She urged United Nations and world’s human rights bodies to take action against Indian forces and demanded his release, fearing that his health might deteriorate again in the jail.
Yasin Malik, who is one of the resistance leaders spearheading the ongoing uprising in this Himalayan region, was shifted to hospital after his right arm swelled because of some CT scan procedural injection failure.
The injection failure had caused a severe infection and swelling in his arm and because of that he suffered from high fevers for many days.
She said Yasin Malik still remains on high antibiotics and had kidney stone problems, but swelling in his arm has considerably lessened and fever is also in control for the last two days.
