World praising Pakistan for eradication of terrorism: Raja Zafar

ISLAMABAD, Oct 17 (APP): Leader of the House in Senate Raja Zafarul Haq Monday said the whole world was praising Pakistan for its efforts to eradicate terrorism.

Except India, all the international community ackonwledged Pakistan’s role for world peace, he said while talking to newsmen after presiding over a seminar on the 65th death anniversary of Quaid-i-Millat Liaqat Ali Khan Shaheed here at Wafaqi Urdu University.

He said the armed forces led by Chief of Army Staff (COAS) General Raheel Sharif played an effective role in the elimination of terrorism from the country.

Commenting on Pakistan Tehreek-i-Insaf’s (PTI) forthcoming march, he said PTI chief Imran Khan should show some maturity and abandon doing immature politics. He had damaged the country’s image during his 2014 sit-in.

Imran used to contest the government’s announcement about the China Pakistan Economic Corridor (CPEC), which had now become a reality as many projects under the CPEC were being undertaken, he added.

He urged the PTI leadership not to impede the development process in country and intead play a positive role. Imran Khan would not be able to block the federal capital.

He said holding protest was the democratic right of a political party but it should be within limits.
