LAHORE, Dec 20 (APP):President Dr Arif Alvi on Thursday said the entire world acknowledged success of Pakistan Forces in war against terrorism.
He was addressing a concluding ceremony of Second Maritime Security Workshop here at Pakistan Navy War College.Chief of the Naval Staff Admiral Zafar Mahmood Abbasi, Commandant of Pakistan Navy War College Rear Admiral Naveed Ahmed Rizvi, Senator Mohammad Ali Khan Saif and other dignitaries were present on the occasion.
The President said that leadership of Turkey and Saudi Arab acknowledged the professionalism of Pakistan Armed Forces.
He highlighted that Indian ocean was sensitive area in the region and its security was important for trade, economy and overall development in the country.
“Pakistan Navy always remained alert against nefarious designs of the enemy”,he said.
He said the Pakistan Navy has the potential to tackle any security threat in the country’s waters.
