‘Women Learning Partnership Program TOT 2025’ concludes

ISLAMABAD, Jun 26 (APP): The second day of the three-day Women Learning Partnership Program – Training of Trainers (TOT) 2025 concluded successfully on Thursday.
The event brought together journalists, academics, and students to enhance their leadership skills.
Moderators included Naeem Mirza, Executive Director of the Aurat Foundation; Rabeea Hadi, Global Facilitator of the WLP Program and senior representative of the Aurat Foundation; and Myra Imran, renowned journalist and former Vice President of the National Press Club.
Naeem Mirza delivered an insightful and thought-provoking session on ‘Marriage as an Emerging Economy’.
Myra Imran conducted a session on climate mitigation and adaptation, emphasizing the importance of both strategies in addressing the climate crisis.
Rabeea Hadi led a session on the concept of project groups, covering objectives, target audiences, timelines, methodology, plans of action, resources, expected outcomes, and monitoring.
Rabeea and Myra also shared their personal journeys of success as women leaders. Journalist and President of PFUJ, Sadia Kamal, also joined later to share her own inspiring success story with the participants.
Maqsooda, Manager of Advocacy at the Aurat Foundation, shared success stories of trainees from different previous batches of the WLP program.
The training was organized by the Aurat Foundation, a leading organization advocating for women’s rights and empowerment in Pakistan.
The day concluded with practical exercises designed to assess and strengthen participants’ leadership capabilities through real-time scenarios and group activities.
Participants expressed appreciation for the engaging content and empowering environment, setting a strong tone for the final day of the training.
