Women enrollments open for 2nd batch of ITP’s ‘Uraan’ riding school

ISLAMABAD, Feb 23 (APP): Islamabad Traffic Police (ITP) has opened enrollments for the second batch of the “ITP Uraan Scooty & Motorcycle Riding School,” a dedicated initiative aimed at promoting safe and confident riding skills among women in the federal capital.
An ITP official told APP on Monday that the programme has been designed to provide a structured, beginner-friendly, and women-centric learning environment to help participants develop professional riding competence.
He said the training focuses on road safety principles, practical riding techniques, and confidence-building measures to ensure safe and independent mobility for women.
The official said interested women can obtain details and complete registration by contacting the official helpline at 0325-2786915.
ITP said the initiative reflects its continued commitment to public facilitation, road safety awareness, and women’s empowerment through mobility.
