WHO, Gavi support integrated outreach in Sindh

ISLAMABAD, Oct 06 (APP):The World Health Organization (WHO) in partnership with Gavi and the Sindh government, is conducting a 12-day integrated outreach campaign across 130 union councils to reach children in low-coverage and zero-dose areas of the province.
The initiative focuses on reaching children who have missed routine immunization and those living in underserved communities, helping improve vaccination coverage and access to essential health services.
WHO Pakistan said the outreach was aimed at ensuring that children in hard-to-reach and low-coverage pockets are not left behind.
It said reaching every child would contribute to stronger immunization coverage, greater protection for families and a healthier future for communities across Sindh.
The campaign reflects continued efforts by health partners and the provincial government to close immunization gaps and protect children against vaccine-preventable diseases.
