RAWALPINDI, Mar 05 (APP):The Water and Sanitation Agency (WASA) Rawalpindi has restored normal water supply through tankers in Adiala Road and adjoining areas, following a temporary disruption caused by ongoing remodelling work at Kachehri Chowk.
WASA Rawalpindi Managing Director, Azizullah Khan, said Thursday that providing clean water to city residents remained the Agency’s top priority. He added that tanker services were now operating normally across areas previously affected by the project.
He said that on the instructions of Deputy Commissioner Rawalpindi Dr Hassan Waqar Cheema, WASA teams remained active in the field to improve the water distribution system and ensure uninterrupted supply to residential localities.
The MD urged citizens to consult official WASA sources for authentic information, avoid wasting water, and use this valuable resource carefully.
He reaffirmed that WASA personnel were on standby to promptly address any water-related complaints, stressing that public relief continued to be the Agency’s foremost priority.
