ISLAMABAD, Jan 02 (APP):Minister of State for Federal Education and Professional Training Wajiha Qamar on Friday held a meeting with Ambassador of the Republic of Türkiye to Pakistan Irfan Neziroglu and reaffirmed the two countries’ shared commitment to further strengthening bilateral cooperation in the education sector.
The meeting, held at the Turkish Embassy, was also attended by Turkish Education Counsellor Mehmet Toyran. Both sides held detailed discussions on strengthening bilateral cooperation in the field of education and explored opportunities for enhanced collaboration between Pakistan and Türkiye, said a press release.
During the meeting, Ms. Wajiha Qamar emphasized the importance of academic exchanges, capacity building, and institutional linkages between educational institutions of the two countries. She highlighted Pakistan’s commitment to learning from Türkiye’s experience in education and skills development.
Ambassador Irfan Neziroglu reaffirmed Türkiye’s strong support for deepening educational ties and expressed interest in expanding cooperation through scholarships, joint programs, and exchange initiatives.
The meeting concluded with a shared resolve to further strengthen Pakistan–Türkiye relations through meaningful and sustainable educational partnerships.
