VISIO Spark-2025 to showcase innovation, strengthen capacity of young tech professionals

WAH CANTT , Nov 28 (APP): COMSATS University Islamabad (CUI), Wah Campus, would host its annual flagship technology event “VISIO Spark-2025” on Saturday, bringing together hundreds of students, researchers and young innovators from across the region to compete, collaborate and demonstrate emerging tech skills.
Organised with the support of IEEE, ACM and various departmental societies, the event features a wide range of competitions including on-spot programming, debugging, software and mobile app development, quiz contests, poster and logo design, CAD clash, speed wiring, MATLAB skills, robo race, circuit troubleshooting and idea-based challenges.
Cash prizes and special gifts for participants have been sponsored by leading industry partners.
Talking to APP, Director Campus, Dr. Ehsan Munir said the VISIO Spark served as one of the premier academic-industry engagement platforms in the region, providing students with the opportunity to apply classroom learning to real-world problem-solving.
Students from various universities would attend the one-day event, while industry experts, faculty members and technical judges would evaluate entries to identify outstanding talent.
