KARACHI, Dec 7 (APP): Sindh Governor Dr Ishrat-ul-Ebad Khan has said that the youth should be trained in hotel management because of its global growth and employment opportunities.
This he said while addressing the certificates distribution ceremony of Skillston graduates.On the occasion, High Commissioner of Australia and CEO Skillston, Afzal Ahmed Siddiqui also addressed, according to a press release issued by Skillston here Monday.The programmes of exchange of students between the Hunterteff from Australia and Skillston was signed.
The agreement of programme was signed by High Commissioner of Australia and Muhammad Amin of Skillston.The prominent personalities from the hotel management sector were also awarded during the programme.He said Skillston is the first institution which is
awarded with A-grade by the National Vocational Training Commission for hospitality training and it was the first institution to exchange students programme with the Australian Institute.
Australia’s High Commissioner Margaret Adamson said that the exchange programme between both countries is very important. “We will try to promote such partnerships among other sectors as well” said Margaret.
The Commissioner further said the hotel management and hospitality industry is creating 15 million new positions and Skillston is playing a vital role in training Pakistani youth.
