Use of force cannot silence voices in IOK: Maryam

PMLN has no right to speak about media freedom: Farrukh

ISLAMABAD, Jul 20 (APP): Maryam Nawaz Sharif Wednesday said that guns could not silence the Kashmiris’ voices in the Indian Occupied Kashmir (IOK), claiming their right to self-determination.

“We stand by Kashmir and our valiant brothers,” she said in her tweets in connection with the observance of the Black Day.

The Black Day was observed across the country on Wednesday to express solidarity with the Kashmiri people and protest against the grave atrocities committed by Indian forces in the Occupied Kashmir.

The Federal government had directed ministries, divisions and provincial governments to comply with the decision of the Federal Cabinet to observe the Day and express solidarity with Kashmiris on July 20.
