MULTAN, Jan 14 (APP)::The three-day 705th urs of great saint of Sub-continent Hazrat Shah Ruknuddin Alam Noori Hazoori concluded here on Monday with prayers for peace, progress and prosperity  of the country.Custodian of the shrine and Foreign Minister Makhdoom Shah Mehmood Qureshi chaired the concluding session of the urs. He appreciated participation of people from across the country, particularly from Balochistan, Azad Kashmir, Sindh and Rajasthan (India). He lauded devotees for managing Shah Ruknuddin Conference in Rajasthan also at the same time. He prayed for elimination of the elements which wanted to create division among the Muslim 
ummah. He said the country was facing internal and external challenges and prayed for Allah's help to meet these challenges.
	Punjab Auqaf Minister Syed Saeedul Hassan Shah said the Auqaf Department would ensure renovation of shrines of Hazrat Shah Ruknuddin Alam and Hazrat Bahauddin Zakariya. He also promised making a university for promotion of teachings of saints and contemporary disciplines.
	Saeed-ul-Hassan said that a conference of caretakers of all shrines would be convened at the shrine of Hazrat Data Gunj Bakash in Lahore soon.
	Chief of Jamat Ahle Sunnat Allama Mazhar Saeed Kazmi paid rich tribute to the great saint for promotion of Islamic teachings. He said those who remained associated with shrines, always received immense respect. The saints always worked for welfare of people, he added.
	Allama Siddique Khan Qadiri also hailed services of Hazrat Shah Ruknuddin Alam for Islam. He said that his shrine was a recognition of the country across the world.
	Allama Ghulam Mustafa Rizvi, Qari Matee-ur-Rasool and some other scholars also addressed the concluding ceremony.
	MNA and Parliamentary Committee for Finance Secretary Zain Qureshi, Vice Chancellor Bahauddin Zakariya University Professor Tariq Mehmood Ansari, Registrar BZU Suhaib Rashid Khan, Zonal Administrator Auqaf Zia-ul-Mustafa, Makhdoom Tariq Abbas Shamsi, Ali Hussain Shah, Mian Abdur Rauf Qureshi, Ali Akbar Bhatti, 
Mian Jameel, former provincial minister for Auqaf Ehsanuddin Qureshi and other noteables were also present.
