ISLAMABAD, Jun 21 (APP): The Senate session reconvened Saturday at Parliament House, with Deputy Chairman Sardar Syedal Khan Nasar presiding, as the Upper House prepared to consider non-binding budget recommendations.
The House resumed proceedings at 12:34 p.m.
The Upper House concluded its budget debate following seven sittings.
The deliberations centered on a motion moved by Minister for Finance and Revenue, Senator Muhammad Aurangzeb, on June 10, seeking the Senate’s recommendations on the Finance Bill—comprising the Annual Budget Statement—under Article 73 of the Constitution.
