Uplift of backward areas top priority of KP Govt: CM

PESHAWAR, May 03 (APP):Chief Minister KP Mehmud Khan has said that development of backward areas was top priority of the government and would leave no stone unturned to achieve the desired goals of progress and prosperity in the province.
He said this while talking to a delegation of PK-88 Bannu led by MPA Pukhtonyar Khan. The CM assured that problems of the PK-88 constituency would be solved at the earliest. Principal Secretary to CM Shahab Ali Shah was present on the occasion.
The delegation apprised the Chief Minister about the problems of the constituency regarding lack of clean drinking water, deteriorated conditions of the roads and poor civic amenities.
The CM assured that concrete would be taken to address problems of the area mentioned by the delegates. We believe in uniform development of the province however fast track uplift of neglected and backward areas was included in the priority list of the government, the CM said.
The ongoing schemes outlined in the ADP would be given preference so that to give relief to the people at their doorstep.
