Unity, culture, & celebration shine at F-9 Uraan Pakistan festival

ISLAMABAD, Nov 17 (APP): Uraan Pakistan Family Festival at F-9 Park, organized by the Ministry of Information and Broadcasting, brought together large crowds in a spirited celebration of unity and joy, reflecting the government’s people-focused vision under Prime Minister Shehbaz Sharif.
According to official sources, Pakistan’s remarkable victory in the Ma’arka-e-Haq lifted national morale, and the same spirit added energy and excitement to the festival atmosphere.
Interior Minister Mohsin Naqvi played a pivotal role in the successful organization of the festival, with the Interior Ministry ensuring comprehensive security arrangements throughout the event.
The district administration, along with other supporting departments, also contributed significantly, enabling the festival to conclude safely and seamlessly.
A large number of women, children, youth, and senior citizens thronged the festival on Sunday, creating a vibrant and inclusive gathering.
Residents of the twin cities, enjoyed the lively yet peaceful atmosphere throughout the event. Prior to the festival’s commencement, Federal Minister for Information and Broadcasting Attaullah Tarar visited F-9 Park,and reviewed the various arrangements.
The minister inspected stalls, stage areas, and family zones established for recreational activities during a public event. He reviewed the arrangements on-site and issued necessary instructions to the concerned officials to ensure smooth management.
Speaking on the occasion, the minister emphasized that providing healthy recreational opportunities for citizens remains a key government priority. He noted that such events not only offer leisure and entertainment but also play an important role in fostering social harmony and community engagement.
Defying security concerns, a large public turnout at the Uraan Pakistan Family Festival reflected citizens’ determination to revive positive activities and maintain normalcy in daily life.
The festival featured performances by renowned singers including Atif Aslam, Farhan Saeed, Nimra Mehra, Jabar Abbas, and Zuneb Zahid, who received an overwhelming response from the audience.
Adding vibrancy to the evening, Shafaat Ali and Sofia Ahmed hosted the stage with their lively presentation, further enhancing the festive atmosphere.
Beyond entertainment, the event carried a strong message: despite challenges, the people of Pakistan remain undeterred and eager to embrace cultural and national activities that promote unity and optimism.
