UK foreign secretary lauds Pakistan’s sustained efforts for regional peace

ISLAMABAD, Jun 27 (APP): Deputy Prime Minister and Foreign Minister Senator Mohammad Ishaq Dar on Saturday spoke with UK Foreign Secretary Yvette Cooper.
Foreign Secretary Cooper reiterated the UK’s appreciation for Pakistan’s sustained efforts for peace and stability in the region, which led to the signing of the Islamabad MoU by the USA and Iran, mediated by Pakistan.
Deputy Prime Minister Dar reaffirmed Pakistan’s commitment to promoting dialogue, diplomacy, and constructive engagement between the parties.
Both leaders agreed to remain in close contact.
