ISLAMABAD, Oct 7 (APP): Minister of State for Foreign Affairs of Uganda Okello Henry Oryem Friday called on Special Assistant to the Prime Minister on Foreign Affairs Syed Tariq Fatemi here.
During the meeting, the two ministers discussed bilateral and
regional issues of mutual interest.
Tariq Fatemi briefed his counterpart on the situation in
Indian held Kashmir.
While expressing satisfaction on the ongoing cooperation in the field of agriculture and education, the two sides however, stressed on the need to enhance trade and economic relations, so as to realize their true potential.
The SAPM also hosted a lunch in honour of the visiting dignitary.
Minister of State for Foreign Affairs of Uganda is in Pakistan to participate in celebration of 54th Independence Day of Republic of Uganda falling on October 09, 2016 at Lahore.
