ISLAMABAD, Feb 19 (APP):A delegation from the United Arab Emirates (UAE) visited Safe City Islamabad to observe the capital police’s modern surveillance and operational systems.
An official told APP on Thursday that DIG Security Muhammad Atiq Tahir, SDPO Shehzad Town Muhammad Inzamam, Director IT Atif Abbas, and Assistant Director Safe City Abbas Mehdi received the delegation.

The delegation was given a detailed briefing and guided tour of the Command and Control Centre, where officials highlighted the system’s performance, significance, and operational effectiveness.
The official said the visit aimed at strengthening professional cooperation and sharing technological expertise to further modernise policing systems. He said Safe City Islamabad plays a vital role in crime prevention, monitoring, and improving response mechanisms through advanced technology.
During the visit, both sides exchanged views on adopting international best practices in smart policing and public safety initiatives.
