ISLAMABAD, Aug 06 (APP): United States Chargé d’Affaires to Pakistan, Ms. Natalie A. Baker on Thursday appreciated Pakistan’s positive and constructive role during the Gulf conflict and commended its diplomatic efforts to promote regional peace and stability during a meeting with Federal Minister for Law, Justice and Human Rights, Senator Azam Nazeer Tarar.
The meeting, held at the Ministry of Law, Justice and Human Rights, focused on Pakistan-United States bilateral relations, matters of mutual interest and the regional situation.
During the meeting, Ms. Baker also acknowledged the leadership and contributions of Field Marshal, Syed Asim Munir and Prime Minister, Muhammad Shehbaz Sharif in promoting peace and stability in the region.
Senator Azam Nazeer Tarar reaffirmed that Pakistan would continue to play a positive and constructive role in advancing regional peace, stability and dialogue.
Both sides reiterated their commitment to further strengthening Pakistan-United States bilateral cooperation, including collaboration in the field of law, and enhancing engagement in other areas of mutual interest.
