Turkish Constitutional Court delegation visits Lahore Museum

LAHORE, Apr 08 (APP):A nine-member delegation from Constitutional Court of the Republic of Türkiye, led by its President Kadir Özkaya, visited Lahore Museum on Wednesday, during its official visit to Lahore.

LAHORE, Apr 08 (APP):A nine-member delegation from Constitutional Court of the Republic of Türkiye, led by its President Kadir Özkaya, visited Lahore Museum on Wednesday, during its official visit to Lahore.
The visiting delegation was received by Lahore Museum Director Taseer Ahmad and other officials upon arrival and taken on a guided tour of various sections of the historic museum, where they were introduced to rare artifacts, manuscripts, sculptures and cultural exhibits reflecting the rich heritage of the region.
During the visit, the delegates showed keen interest in the historical objects and collections displayed in different galleries of the museum, particularly those representing the civilisational and cultural history of the Subcontinent.
At the conclusion of the visit, President Constitutional Court Kadir Özkaya recorded his impressions in the visitors’ book, appreciating the preservation of cultural heritage and the historical significance of the museum.
The delegation included Justice Ridvan Güleç, Justice Recai Akyel, Secretary General Murat Azakli, Chief Rapporteur-Judge Abdullah Çelik, Rapporteur-Judge Gizem Ceren Demir Kosar, Rapporteur-Judge Özge Ulukaya, Rapporteur-Judge Sümeyye Kocaman and Security Officer Ahmet Durmaz.
Earlier, the delegation visited the Lahore High Court and met Chief Justice Aalia Neelum and other judges.
