LAHORE, Sept 12 (APP): Federal Minister for Information, Broadcasting and National Heritage Senator Pervaiz Rashid Monday said today everyone preferred to perform Hajj under the government scheme because of better arrangements and less expenses.
During the past government, Hajj expenses were very high, but the PML-N government under the dynamic leadership of Prime Minister Muhammad Nawaz Sharif reduced the same substantially, he said talking to media here at DHA.
He felicitated on his own and on behalf of PML-N leadership to all those, who performed Hajj this year.
Maintaining its three years best track record, he said, the Pakistan Muslim League-Nawaz (PML-N) government had made the best Hajj arrangements this year as well.
Pervaiz Rashid said Pakistan Tehreek-i-Insaf (PTI) chief Imran Khan had always been in isolation and would remain isolated in future as well.
He said Imran had made two promises of performing Hajj and marching towards Raiwind during the month of Zil-Hajj, but he had fulfilled none yet. As far as his first promise was concerned, he was not blessed by the Alimighty to perform Hajj as he seemed to have made some wheeling and dealing with the ‘devil’.
The minister said the government had not stopped the PTI
Chairman from marching towards Raiwind, but he was left alone as Pakistan People’s Party (PPP), Awami National Party (ANP), Jamaat-i-Islami (JI), and even his political cousin (Dr Tahirul Qadri of Pakistan Awami Tehrik-PAT) had opposed his march.
He said Imran Khan could not get the blessings of Allah Almighty and could not get realized his dream of wearing a ‘Sherwani’.
He said a politician from Rawalpindi, who had always been talking of ‘sacrifice’ on every Eid, had now purchased a camel worth Rs 100,000 for sacrificial purpose.
