The national flags of Pakistan, Türkiye and Saudi Arabia fluttered together across the federal capital on Sunday as Islamabad Capital Territory (ICT) Police held a grand flag march to celebrate the Makkah joint defence agreement, projecting a message of brotherhood, solidarity and shared defence commitment among the three countries.

ISLAMABAD, Aug 09 (APP): The national flags of Pakistan, Türkiye and Saudi Arabia fluttered together across the federal capital on Sunday as Islamabad Capital Territory (ICT) Police held a grand flag march to celebrate the Makkah joint defence agreement, projecting a message of brotherhood, solidarity and shared defence commitment among the three countries.
An ICT Police spokesperson told APP that the flag march was led by SSP Operations Islamabad Qazi Ali Raza, while SSP Security and Administration Sulaiman Zafar, SP City Zone Dr Ayaz Hussain and other senior police officers also participated.
The march commenced from the Sports Complex and passed through major roads of Islamabad, with the national flags of the three brotherly countries prominently displayed on participating police vehicles.
The atmosphere echoed with slogans of “Pakistan Zindabad” and “Long Live Pakistan-Türkiye-Saudi Arabia Friendship” as the convoy moved through the capital. Citizens along the route also welcomed the flag march and its message of friendship, unity and solidarity.
Speaking on the occasion, Qazi said the brotherly relations and joint defence commitment among Pakistan, Türkiye and Saudi Arabia represented their shared strength, unity and mutual trust.
He said the flag march was a strong expression of national unity, defence cooperation and Pakistan’s longstanding bonds of brotherhood with the two Islamic countries.
The SSP Qazi said the deep-rooted relations among the three countries were a matter of pride and their growing mutual trust, cooperation and partnership were important for promoting peace, stability and unity in the region.
He said Islamabad Police, through the flag march, had conveyed a message of national dignity, patriotism and defence solidarity, adding that the partnership among Pakistan, Türkiye and Saudi Arabia reflected their shared commitment and brotherhood.
Qazi said Islamabad Police remained committed not only to protecting the lives and property of citizens and maintaining law and order but also to playing its role in promoting national unity, solidarity and friendship with brotherly countries.
Meanwhile, major Islamabad Police buildings were illuminated with special decorative lights to mark the occasion, while the national flags of Pakistan, Türkiye and Saudi Arabia were displayed prominently on police buildings across the capital.
Police officers and personnel participating in the march paid tribute to the strong relations, mutual respect and shared commitment among the three countries, while the public response reflected support for the message of friendship and solidarity.
