BAHAWALPUR, Dec 11 (APP): Three-day national anti-polio campaign would start from December 14 in Bahawalpur District.
According to Executive District Officer Health Dr Shahid Khaleeq over 587,830 children of less than 5 years age would be administered anti-polio vaccines.
Total 1,298 teams have been constituted for this purpose in the district.Out of these teams, 1032 mobile teams will visit door to door and 147 fixed teams will perform their duties at Bahawal Victoria Hospital, Civil Hospital, Tehsil Headquarter Hospitals, basic health units and rural health centers.
While 106 mobile teams would administer polio vaccine at general bus stops, wagon stand, railway station and toll plazas and 15 teams will perform their duties at markets.
