ISLAMABAD, Jan 08 (APP):Islamabad Electric Supply Company (IESCO) has initiated need-based load management across its entire region following a temporary reduction in overall power generation due to technical reasons, an IESCO spokesperson said on Thursday.
According to the spokesperson, IESCO is currently not receiving electricity in line with demand, resulting in scheduled power outages in various areas. The situation arose after technical issues affected generation, leading to a shortfall in supply, said a press release.
The spokesperson further stated that as soon as electricity supply according to demand becomes available, uninterrupted power supply to valued consumers will be restored.
The IESCO management is fully aware of the inconvenience faced by consumers due to power outages and, under these circumstances, sincerely apologizes to its valued consumers and requests their cooperation.
