ISLAMABAD, Jan 4 (APP):Minister for Power Division Omar Ayub Khan Thursday said temporary load-management was being carried out due to tripping.
He said dense fog was main caused for tripping of power transmission lines resulting power break-down, a press statement said.Apologizing to the consumers, the minister said despite severe cold weather, teams of National Transmission and Despatch Company and power distribution companies remained busy to restore power supply to the affected areas.
He said additional teams had been deputed on directives of the prime minister.
