ISLAMABAD, Oct 24 (APP):High Commissioner of Pakistan in Canada Tariq Azim Khan has stressed upon the Pakistani origin students to actively participate at the local and international events of different universities to promote true perspective of Pakistan.
He was expressing his views in a meeting with a delegation of Pakistan Students Association (PSA) University of Ottawa, a message received here Wednesday said.
The high commissioner said Pakistanis students must avail the life changing opportunities offered by post-secondary education at the Canadian universities.
He emphasized upon them to actively participate in the communities in which they lived and promote good-will between the two countries.
On the occasion, the students briefed the high commissioner on the activities they planned to promote understanding of Pakistani culture among the Canadian and international students of the university.
Tariq Azim also assured them full support in their efforts to promote true image of Pakistan in the Canadian society.
