ISLAMABAD, Jan 19 (APP):Federal Minister for Information and Broadcasting Attaullah Tarar visited senior journalist Shehbaz Rana to inquire about his health.
The minister expressed concern over Rana’s condition, conveyed best wishes for his early recovery, and offered prayers for his speedy recuperation.
Acknowledging Rana’s valuable services to the profession, Tarar lauded him as a respected voice in journalism. He remarked that journalists are the eyes and voice of society, adding that it is the government’s responsibility to stand by them.
Principal Information Officer Mobashir Hassan accompanied the minister during the visit.
