ISLAMABAD, Nov 30 (APP): Federal Minister for Information and Broadcasting Attaullah Tarar on Sunday emphasized the crucial role of the private sector in the country’s educational landscape while addressing the Alumni Awards ceremony organized by the Beaconhouse Old Students Society.
The ceremony was attended by Provincial Finance Minister Mujtaba Shuja-ur-Rehman, teachers, alumni, and distinguished figures from various walks of life. During the event, participants engaged in discussions regarding the future of education and the importance of collaborative partnerships.
Speaking on the occasion, Tarar lauded the contributions of private educational institutions. He underscored that investing in the education sector and enhancing the capacity of the youth are of paramount importance for national progress.
During his address, the minister also extended his congratulations to the team behind the Pakistani film Deemak. He appreciated the actors and crew for their recent success at the Eurasian Film Academy Awards (Diamond Butterfly) held in Moscow.
Later in the ceremony, he distributed awards to individuals who had rendered outstanding services in various fields. He congratulated the recipients and acknowledged their significant achievements.
