Govt determined to promote sports activities: Pervaiz Rashid

LAHORE Dec 14 (APP): President PML-N Lahore MNA Pervaiz Malik on Monday said the Turkmenistan-Afghanistan-Pakistan-India (Tapi) gas project would play a pivotal role in revitalizing the national economy.

Welcoming the opening of the project, he termed it a historic and significant in the South Asian region, saying it prove to be a fate changer for people of Pakistan.

“PML-led government covered another milestone by initiating the gas project and continue to accomplish more mega projects to lead the country to the path of progress and prosperity,” he added.

He said, Pakistan enjoys rich natural resources and the government was tapping all these expeditiously. He said, the Tapi project would fulfill country’s future gas needs and help run based projects including CNG stations.

Malik lauded the Prime Minister Muhammad Nawaz Sharif for initiating public welfare projects and said under the PM dynamic leadership Pakistan had grown up as economically matured state.

He also praised Chief Minister Punjab over initiating development projects in the province.
