ISLAMABAD, Jun 10 (APP):Deputy Chairman Senate, Syedaal Khan Nasar on Wednesday expressed profound sorrow and grief over the tragic crash of a Pakistan Army Aviation MI-17 helicopter near Muzaffarabad, terming the loss of precious human lives a national tragedy.
In his condolence statement, the Deputy Chairman Senate said that those who sacrifice their lives in the line of duty for the defence of the country and national responsibilities were the true heroes of the nation, and their sacrifices were remembered with great honour and respect in national history.
He added that their services and spirit of sacrifice served as a lasting example for future generations.
He extended heartfelt condolences and solidarity to the bereaved families of the martyrs, stating that the entire nation stood with them in this moment of grief and shared their sorrow as a collective national loss.
The Deputy Chairman Senate prayed for the elevation of the ranks of the martyrs in the hereafter, acceptance of their noble sacrifices, and patience and strength for the grieving families.
He further said that the nation would always remember the services and sacrifices of its brave defenders with utmost respect and honour.
