The Supreme Court has granted bail to Ayaz, an employee of a sensitive institution, in a murder case, citing the legal grounds that his name was not mentioned in the FIR and his presence at the crime scene at the time of the murder had not been established.

ISLAMABAD, Sep 28 (APP): The Supreme Court has granted bail to Ayaz, an employee of a sensitive institution, in a murder case, citing the legal grounds that his name was not mentioned in the FIR and his presence at the crime scene at the time of the murder had not been established.
During the hearing, counsel for the accused, Rizwan Abbasi, contended that his client was neither present at the crime scene nor had any role in the murder. He further pointed out that the accused had not been named in the FIR.
The state counsel informed the court that Ayaz was a driver at the sensitive institution, the Pakistan Atomic Energy Commission, and had transported the other accused persons in an official vehicle after the murder. The vehicle used by the accused had also been taken into custody.
The state counsel further submitted that the accused had remained in contact with the other accused persons at the time of the murder.
After hearing arguments from both sides, the court allowed Ayaz’s bail petition.
