Steps being taken for Jhang district’s development: Governor

JHANG, March 05 (APP)::Punjab Governor Chaudhry Muhammad Sarwar Tuesday said the PTI government was taking practical steps for the development of district Jhang and raising living standard of the people.
Talking to media at the residence of late Muhammad Suleman in Shorkot City, he said that all development schemes in the district were being completed with the consultation of local MPAs and MNAs as people of Jhang voted in favour of the PTI in 2018 general election.
He said that several development schemes in the area and to start of classes in University of Jhang had been given final shape.
He said that Prime Minister Imran Khan released Indian pilot as gesture of peace and this message was appreciated by world leaders and they termed Pakistan as a peace loving country.
He said that Indian prime minister tried to initiate war in the region for his political gains but Pakistan under the leadership of Imran Khan retaliated with dignity and honour to save the area from large scale destruction.
He lauded the role of Pakistani media during Indian aggression and said it had played a very positive role.
