State Minister determined to eliminate corruption

ARACHI, Oct 12 (APP):State Minister for Communication Murad Saeed on Friday said that elimination of corruption from the country is their determination and the audit of six mega projects of the previous
government would be conducted.
The State Minister said this while talking to media during his visit to Karachi.
Earlier, on his arrival to the port city, Murad Saeed visited
mausoleum of father of the nation Quaid-e-Azam Muhammad Ali Jinnah,
laid a wreath and offered fateha.
The State Minister said that the Sukkur- Hyderabad Motorway
project will be constructed under Public-Private Partnership while
work on the Green Line Project will be completed soon.
He said that more investment to the country will bring prosperity
and we will take the country on the path of development.
The Statement Minister said that he has started the process of
accountability in his Ministry.
He said that encroachments will be removed from the National
Highway with the cooperation of the Sindh Government and operation
will be carried out against the big mafias. The cleaning of the
National and Super highways will be performed, he added.
Murad Saeed said that the National Highway Foundation Case has
been handed over to the Federal Investigation Agency (FIA).
He said that directives have already been issued for cleaning of
all roads of the National Highway Authority (NHA), with in a month.
The 219 vehicles of the NHA are being auctioned so as to save around
Rs 30 million.
During his visit to Lyari Expressway, the State Minister said
that there are still problems in the Lyari Expressway project. The
cost of the project of Lyari Expressway have now been increased three-
fold, for which investigation is ordered, he said.
The action will be taken against the responsible elements into
the matter of Lyari Expressway project and the loss will be recovered
from them, he added.
He said that the Ministry of Communication is actively
participating in Prime Minister’s cleaning and plantation campaign and
the cleaning and plantation in the surroundings of highways will be
launched soon.
The State Minister also announced to launch a mobile application
about the road safety information latest by October 25.
