KARACHI, Dec 1 (APP): Sir Syed University of Engineering and Technology (SSUET) has announced the schedule whereby the final semester examination is set to start from December 8, an official of the institution said here on Tuesday.
“Teaching has completed and students given one week time for the preparation of examination”, said Vice-Chancellor Prof. Dr Jawaid H. Rizvi.As per schedule the 2nd, 4th, 6th and 8th semester exams will be held in two shifts, morning and afternoon.
Vice-Chancellor said that new academic year will start from mid-January
2016 while the customary Orientation Day will be held on January 12.
Meanwhile, the admission process for new academic year 2016 is in
progress while merit list for batch 2016 has already been issued and displayed.
The successful candidates have started depositing fee while the
university has announced December 8 as last date for the purpose.
It may be mentioned here that the university is imparting teaching in 10
engineering and non-engineering disciplines which include Computer, Electronics, Electrical, Civil, Telecommunication, Software and Bio-Medical Engineering besides Computer Science, Bio-Informatics and Architecture.
