ISLAMABAD, Aug 02 (APP):Senior Superintendent of Police (SSP) Operations Islamabad Qazi Ali Raza visited various churches, key duty points and important routes across the federal capital to review security arrangements, directing police officers to remain on high alert and ensure effective policing to maintain law and order.
An ICT Police spokesperson told APP on Sunday that the SSP visited different churches in the city, where he met police personnel deployed on security duties and inspected the security arrangements.
The spokesperson said Qazi Ali Raza directed officers to remain vigilant, perform their duties with dedication and maintain a high level of preparedness to ensure the safety and security of worshippers.
Later, he visited various duty points and security routes across the capital, where he reviewed operational arrangements and met officers performing security duties.
He instructed the officers to remain alert, ensure effective checking, treat citizens with courtesy and discharge their professional responsibilities with commitment to maintaining peace and public order.
The spokesperson said ICT Police remained committed to ensuring effective security arrangements across the federal capital and safeguarding all places of worship and other sensitive locations.
