ISLAMABAD, Nov 17 (APP): Senior Superintendent of Police (SSP) Operations Qazi Ali Raza conducted a detailed visit to multiple check-posts and duty points across the federal capital to review security arrangements and strengthen on-ground policing.
An official told APP on Monday that the SSP met officers and personnel deployed on duty and examined the checking process himself to ensure that security measures remain effective and citizen-focused.
SSP Qazi said the visits were carried out in line with the special directions of Inspector General of Police (IGP) Syed Ali Nasir Rizvi, who has instructed all field commanders to enhance vigilance and improve security readiness.
During the inspections, SSP Qazi directed all teams to stay fully alert, ensure strict checking of suspicious persons and vehicles, and immediately report any unusual activity to senior officers.
SSP also emphasised courteous behaviour with citizens, stating that respectful interaction helps build public confidence in the Islamabad Police.
