SSP Operations inspects security during visit to Faizabad checkpoint

ISLAMABAD, Nov 14 (APP):Islamabad Capital Territory (ICT) Police on Friday further strengthened security arrangements across the federal capital as SSP Operations Islamabad Qazi Ali Raza paid a visit to the Faizabad checkpoint to review on-ground measures.

An official told APP that the visit was carried out in line with the special directives of Inspector General of Police Islamabad Syed Ali Nasir Rizvi to ensure foolproof security in the city. He said SSP Operations met police officers and personnel deployed at the Faizabad naka and inspected the checking process in detail.

SSP Qazi directed officers to remain fully alert, ensure effective checking of suspicious individuals and vehicles, and immediately report any unusual or suspicious activity to the concerned authorities.  Qazi Ali Raza instructed that checkpoint operations at Faizabad and other key entry points be made more efficient and purposeful to safeguard citizens’ lives and property.
