ISLAMABAD, Oct 12 (APP):A speeding car overturned near Star Gate Road and Shahrah-e-Faisal in Karachi early Sunday, resulting in the death of 50-year-old Asma and injuries to three others, including two women.
According to details provided by rescue officials from Chhipa, a speeding car overturned near Star Gate Road and Shahrah-e-Faisal in Karachi early Sunday morning where vehicle was reportedly traveling at high speed when the driver lost control, causing it to flip over, local news channel reported.
As a result of the accident, a 50-year-old woman identified as Asma died on the spot. Three others including two women and one man sustained injuries and were quickly shifted to a nearby hospital for medical treatment.
Rescue teams, including Chhipa and police personnel, arrived promptly at the scene to assist the victims and clear the area.
Authorities are investigating the cause of the crash, while initial reports point to over-speeding as the main factor behind the incident.
