Speakers for shunning sectarianism, hate to cope with challenges

ISLAMABAD, Jun 30 (APP): Speakers at a seminar Thursday
stressed the need to shun sectarianism and hate to cope with
challenges being confronted by Muslim Ummah.

Speaking at the seminar “Yaum e Nazriya Pakistan and Al Quds
Day,” jointly organized by Nazriya Pakistan Council and Milli
Yekjehti Council, were of the view that anti Islam forces were
hatching conspiracies to pitch Muslim countries against each other.
They said it was dire need of the hour to join hands and foil
conspiracies of imperialistic forces being hatched to weaken Muslim
countries.

The seminar was organized to highlight the
significance of creation of Pakistan on the sacred night of Lela Tul
Qadar and Alquds Day.

Chairman NPC, Dr Naeem Ghani presided over the event while
leader of the House in Senate Raja Zafarul Haq, Jamaat i Islami
General Secretary Liaqut Baloch, Allama Sajid Naqvi, Allama Amin
Shaheedi, Ziaullah Shah Bukhari, Sahibzada Sultan Ahmed Ali, JUI F
leader Ghulam Ali, Pir Abdul Rahim Naqshbandi and others were key
speakers.

Speaking on the occasion, Raja Zafarul Haq said that Pakistan
since its inception remained main target of anti Islam forces.
Currently, such forces have expedited their drive to weaken
Pakistan, he added.

He said Daesh and ISIS were being used to weaken Muslim
countries.

Regarding Al Quds Day, Zafar Haq said even Quaid e Azam gave
preference to Palestine issue. Prime Minister Muhammad Nawaz Sharif
also highlighted the Palestine issue in the last General Assembly
session before mentioning Kashmir issue.

He said that all those countries particularly African which
were far away from American influence have already recognized
independent Palestine.

He said Indian leadership could not bear that Pakistan become
prosper so it is creating hurdles in Chinese investment.

Raja Zafarul Haq also recalled how Saudi Arabia and Iran
helped Pakistan in 1998 when sanctions were imposed after it
conducted nuclear tests in response to Indian nuclear tests.

Allama Sajid Naqvi stressed the need to shun differences and
join hands to strengthen Muslim Ummah.

Ghulam Ali said being a leader of Muslim Ummah, it was the
responsibility of Pakistan to end tension between Saudi Arabia and
Iran.

Liaqut Baloch said conspiracies were being hatched to de
stabilize Pakistan and Turkey.

It is pertinent to mention here that the idea of celebrating
27th Ramazan as Yaum e Nazriya e Pakistan was floated by NPC in 2010 and was approved by the then government.
