SWABI, May 7 (APP)::Speaker National Assembly, Asad Qaisar Tuesday inaugurated Iftar Point of Saylani Welfare Trust in Swabi.
The inauguration ceremony among others was attended by MPA, Haji Rangraiz Khan, Deputy Commissioner, Salman Lodhi, District Police Officer, Khalid Hamdani and area elites.
Speaking on the occasion, Asad Qaisar appreciated the welfare activities of the trust and said that 500 deserving people can have Iftar daily on the point. He said that as Muslims it is our responsibility to help out needy and deserving people and enable them to become a useful part of the society.
He said Ramzan is a holy month that demands from society to keep in mind those who are destitute and deserving. He said that Allah Almighty has promised endless bounties and gifts for those who would help needy in the holy month.
Asad Qaisar said that we should abide by the teachings of our religion in the month and work for the welfare and betterment of humanity.
